Our newest Czech Pale Lager, Bohemian Dawn, was created as a counterpart to our Dark Czech Lager, Bohemian Dusk, and was inspired by our team’s trip to the Czech Republic. As the name suggests, Bohemian Dawn is a lighter sister to Bohemian Dusk
The following aspects were the primary design inspirations for this label.
1. Bohemian Dawn is a light and bright effervescent lager. Inspiration was taken from dawn and morning imagery such as a rising sun from the horizon line and the Morning Glory flower – a species that blooms every morning at dawn. The color palette of the label was also pulled from both the cool blues of a morning sky before the sun rises, to the bright and warm oranges once it sits high in the sky.
2. When reminiscing about their trip to the Czech Republic, the team recounted some of their favorite Czech artists, including Alfons Mucha – a painter and illustrator known for his bright and colorful poster art. Great inspiration was taken from his piece Zodiac (1896), which features bright colors, great contrast and imagery that inspired Bohemian Dawn’s final label
