Description: Jack’s Abby Brewing seeks an Office Administrator for their office team.  Jack’s Abby was founded in 2011 by three brothers, Jack, Eric and Sam Hendler. It is one of the fastest growing breweries in the country and known for making beautiful craft lagers under the Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers brand, as well as an innovative line of barrel-aged sours and new age ales under the Springdale brand.

The Office Administrator is a unique role that requires a combination of experience and skill set. The role will require experience with Accounts Payable, basic HR administrative work, in addition to experience in daily operations of the office.   • Accounts Payable:
    • Manage data entry, check printing, account balancing & reconciliation for the accounting team.
    • Key point of contact for Accounts Payable: Managing payments, tracking invoices, contracts, and customer service and/or communication with outside parties, and processing related data entry points.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting processes and standards.
    • Support the accounting department in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting processes.
  • HR Support:
      • Support HR department with maintaining employee records: Data entry in Payroll/HRIS system along with maintaining digital and physical employee records.
      • Ensure rosters for benefits vendors are up to date: Health, dental, eyemed, and employee assistance program.
      • Performing HR administrative tasks as assigned.
      • Answer basic employee questions, escalate issues appropriately.
      • Assist HR Department in keeping internal documents, policies, handbooks, etc. up to date and current. Assist with distributing or communicating updates accordingly to all staff.
      • Perform these duties with adherence to strict confidentiality pertaining to sensitive employee information.
  • Admin and Office Support:
    • Own communication within, into and out of the departments supported: It is the responsibility of the administrator to know what is going on in their departments, and ensure that it has been communicated to the necessary and appropriate stakeholders.
    • Support internal communication efforts
    • Tracking of supported department wide goals and metrics for accounting, HR, and office management.
    • Tracking of all contracts for supported department vendors.
    • Responsible for supporting department head in day to day management and administrative duties. This includes, but is not limited to: department head scheduling, communication, planning, special project management, assistance in daily administrative duties or other tasks as assigned by the department heads.
    • General business support: Answering company phone lines, answering customer inquiries, directing information to appropriate departments, receiving mail and deliveries to the office, and filing.
    • Other duties/and or projects as assigned.


  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience working with external vendors and relationship management.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft office applications.
  • Experience with Orchestrated Beer (or other ERP accounting system) is a plus.
  • Experience with Mass Pay or other HRIS or Payroll Systems is a plus.
  • Outstanding internal and external communication skills; ability to communicate with multi-level management. Not afraid to ask questions or keep others accountable.
  • Team work focused and positive attitude, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
  • Problem solver; ability to take initiatives. 
  • The basics of HR Management standards and practices.
  • Extremely Organized.
  • Multilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the craft beer market/industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
