With our current self distribution capabilities we picked a target range of Worcester to Boston. For our first month we focused on Metro West, our home territory. This week, however, we will finally be venturing into the outer ranges.
For Worcester, we just delivered four kegs to Armsby Abbey today. They have all four of our core beers: Saxon Sons Pilsner, Red Tape Lager, Smoke & Dagger and Hoponius Union. We are not sure which will be on tap immediately, but they will all be there soon. We also have a few more places in the works in Worcester that we will let you know about when they have our beer available.
On the other end we have made some inroads into the Boston area. This Monday, the 22nd, we will be taking part in a joint New England Real Ale eXhibition and Mass Brewers Guild event at Redbones in Somerville. We will have a keg of Smoke & Dagger and a specialty cask of Hoponius Union that Jack added ginger to.
Then, next Friday, the 26th, we will be having a tap takeover at Cambridge Common. We will be there in our lederhosen with all four of our core beers starting at 6pm. This is a great chance for anyone from Boston who has not had time to come to the Brewery to try all of our year-round offerings. You will also be able to find our beer in Christopher’s Restaurant & Bar and Meadhall shortly.
